Warm Beach Vaulters
Warm Beach Vaulters
Warm Beach Vaulters is entering the fourth year of competitive vaulting. The vaulting teams have competed throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and British Columbia. In 2007 the team made their debut at the American Vaulting Association National Championships in Denver Colorado. In 2008, Warm Beach Vaulters fielded one trot team and two canter teams, at Nationals in Watsonville, CA. In 2009 the teams traveled to Lexington, Kentucky to compete in the Nationals, as well as a Young Riders competition. A number of the vaulters stayed on in Lexington to compete in an International CVI competition. This competition was held in the newly constructed indoor arena that will be the site of the 2010 World Equestrian Games.
Warm Beach Vaulters B and C teams both won second place and were only a few hundredths of a point from winning first. Individually, several WB Vaulters finished in the top 15 in very large classes. Kaleb Patterson became the 2009 Bronze Men’s Champion. Following nationals, three of our vaulters moved up to the Gold level, the top individual level in vaulting, making Warm Beach Vaulters the only Northwest club with so many high level vaulters. Beyond the accomplishments are matters of character formation and relationships that give witness to the work God is doing in the vaulters' lives as they work and compete. We are so proud of how the kids pray for and reach out to members of other teams and support one another through the ups and downs of the competition season.
We very much appreciate our premium sponsors, Fischer Plumbing and Raflyn Farms Dressage Center, for their support of the Warm Beach Vaulters. If you would like more information about sponsoring the team, please contact Patti Skipton. With four horses and three teams, the cost of traveling to various shows is becoming greater. Generous sponsors help underwrite the cost of fielding the teams, which provide such a rich learning experience for the vaulters.

"Thank you for turning Karli on to vaulting at camp last summer. She loves it, lives and breathes it. It was wonderful to see you all at the competition. No matter where I was at the facility, when I heard your music, my heart felt the presence of the Lord. Your team was a beautiful testimony."
