Refresh, there's room for your soul in a weekend-long Women’s Event. Take time away from the daily duties of life to relax, worship, pray, and be spiritually nourished. This year’s keynote speaker is Karen Mains, author and gifted communicator.

Speaker: Karen Mains

Karen Mains, a prolific writer and gifted communicator, offers her talents, as well as her joys and sorrows to the building of God’s Kingdom. Whether as an author, speaker, or radio and television producer and co-host, Karen addresses the deep spiritual needs and longings that surface in our current society.

Karen has authored 23 books in the religious field, including her first best-selling book Open Heart, Open Home, and three children’s books, The Kingdom Tales Trilogy, which received the Gold Medallion award by the Evangelical Press Association. Karen also collaborated with her husband, David Mains, as she co-hosted the syndicated radio broadcast, The Chapel of the Air, and the national television show You Need to Know. Karen now serves with David as co-director of Mainstay Ministries, where she is responsible for Hungry Souls, a spiritual mentoring outreach that seeks to help people who are hungry for God to find Him in deeper ways.

Karen and David have been married for 50 years and live in the western suburbs of Chicago. As the parents of four adult children, they are highly committed to creating healthy families and eagerly share their invaluable spiritual journeys with the next generation and their own eight grandchildren.
