Speakers

Heath Pressley bio 100 webHeath Pressley has been a church planting pastor, leading communicator, and ministry consultant for more than two and a half decades. Through humor and powerful story telling that points people to Jesus, Heath has helped thousands of people experience life transformation.

Pressely Family 250 webHeath was adopted out of foster care, as an adult was reunited with his birth family and is an adoptive dad. Adoption has been a major theme running through his life. Heath is passionate about encouraging adoption, helping adoptive families understand the unique challenges that adoption brings and helping adoptees know the truth about their identity with God – that they are dearly loved children of the King!

In 2013 God moved Heath out of pastoral ministry and into orphan advocacy. Later that year, Heath became the President of Pathways For Little Feet, a Christ-centered organization that is working towards a world where every child is a permanent member of a loving family. Pathways has helped over 275 families bring over 330 adoptive children home through providing interest-free adoption loans.

Heath lives in Fulshear, TX with his beautiful wife, Jennifer, their five children, Josh, Mariah, Gracie, Javonte, Jack and his Mom, Donna.

Mike Howerton

MikeHowertonMike is an adoptive parent and the lead pastor at Overlake Christian Church. He's quick to say he loves Jesus and hates "churchy." With that in mind, Overlake is forming a church family that isn't churchy, but loving. Most people think that church is boring, but Mike believes the most powerful, dynamic, loving, impactful moments of your week ought to happen while intentionally focusing on God, whether at church or anywhere else. He's a big God... If you're bored, it isn't God you're focused on…
