Counselor In Leadership Training (CILT)

Counselor in Leadership Training (CILT)Summer 2012 - Develop your leadership potential while growing closer to Christ. The CILT program is a leadership training experience for high school age campers entering their sophomore year. It includes one week of training and a second week during the summer as an assistant counselor. All CILTS receive one full week of training followed by one week of practical experience at a regularly scheduled Junior Camp or Day Camp.

Warm Beach Camp's Counselor-in-Leadership-Training program will help campers discover:

  • Learn what it takes to be a summer camp counselor
  • Develop communication skills
  • Understand Warm Beach Camp's Philosophy of Ministry
  • Learn practical problem solving skills
  • Forge stronger leadership abilities
  • Plan and lead games & events for campers
  • Teach camp craft skills
  • Teach a Bible study
  • Serve as an assistant counselor

Qualifications

CILT candidates are a group of persons who have demonstrated readiness for training in Christian leadership. Candidates must...

  • Be actively attending Church
  • Possess a confident personal relationship of faith in Christ
  • Have completed their freshman year in high school
  • Be eager for personal growth
  • Enjoy working with young boys and girls
  • Have four letters of recommendation: two from Christian workers, one from a teacher, and one from a personal friend who is over 18 years old

  • Training Week #1 June 24-30, 2012
  • Training Week #2 July 1-7, 2012

Cost: $348 per person

The cost of the program includes two weeks of CILT training.
