Speakers & Worship Leaders
Junior High Retreat
Worship: Tyler Edwards is a singer-songwriter from Florence, SC. He began his career by writing and performing with rock band I Anthem from 2008-2014. The band had moderate success with multiple songs breaking Top 10 on Billboard's Rock Charts and music featured on MTV and NASCAR. Tyler's latest solo EP - "Too Young for Love," reveals some personal stories and honest questions. Tyler moved to Seattle in January 2015 and is currently the Worship Leader for Essential Church in Bellevue.
Senior High Retreat
Speaker: Kimberly Castelo is an Elder in the Free Methodist Pacific Northwest Conference and a marriage and family therapist. She loves horseback riding and being with family. Kimberly has a dry sense of humor and loves to laugh and have a good time. She can also hold some really tough stories and sit with people when they don’t want to laugh but need to cry and be heard. Appreciating, honoring and loving others right where they are is where Kimberly finds fulfillment and joy.Worship: Mary Clark holds many fond memories of Warm Beach Fall Retreats, specifically hanging out at W-Bar-B Ranch as a higher schooler with the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church youth group (oh hey, Wenatchee!). Mary is now the Director of Worship and Communications at First Free Methodist Church in Seattle. She enjoys drinking strong coffee at comfy coffee shops and playing funky rock music with her band, Mrs. C.
