What does it mean to be light in the dark? The idea of "illuminating" darkness is pretty compelling. How can we be the light of the world? That's what we will explore at this year's Warm Beach Fall Retreats.

Junior High Retreat: October 24-26
Scott Hemberry is the Lead Pastor at Exodus Christian Fellowship in Longview, Washington. He and his wife, Nikki, have four beautiful daughters, Marissa, Regan, Alicia, and Jadyn. Scott served 11 years in Youth Ministry, and was Co-Director of the Youth Event Forklift, before transitioning to his current role. Scott has also coached High School softball for 18 years and is currently the Head Softball Coach at Mark Morris High School in Longview.
Olivia Pothoff is a worship leader and recording artist who hails from the greater Portland Oregon area. She has an incredible passion for music, her family, for worship, and for the Lord. For the last ten years, she has spent time performing, teaching choirs, giving voice lessons, and leading worship music at churches, seminars, and retreats. Recently, Olivia completed an album of some of her original songs and one of those songs, "More Than Gold," was chosen as the winning song for the "Compassion Song for the Children" competition hosted by Compassion International.
Olivia spends her days investing in and cuddling with her three young daughters, Tenley, Kaselyn, and Aubrey. She and her husband, Mark (who is her rock star), make their home in Newberg, Oregon.
Senior High Retreat: November 14-16
Originally from Laurel, MS, Michelle Lang currently resides in Portland, OR where she is the Associate Director of Campus Ministries at Warner Pacific College. Prior to that, she enjoyed an extensive residency in Seattle, WA where she served in various youth outreach programs, performing arts ministries, and other community/collaborative efforts. Michelle also pours her creativity into the band she founded in 1999 called Michelle Lang & Still Water.
Michelle considers herself a simple and sometimes silly intellectual with a knack for good conversation, group motivation and project production. She is single with no children unless you count the hundreds that call her Mom.
'Mary grew up coming to Warm Beach as a Free Methodist pastor's kid and considered the Warm Beach Fall Retreat a highlight of both her Middle School and High School years. Now a Seattle Pacific University (SPU) graduate, Mary works at Seattle's First Free Methodist Church in music and graphic design. Mary and her SPU buddies enjoy reuniting to lead worship at retreats (they've joined Wenatchee Free Methodist Church's youth group for a few of theirs!) and are excited to do so at Warm Beach this fall!Other Weekend Highlights

IMPORTANT! Register with your group - give payment and registration form to your youth pastor/group leader. Group registration is processed through your church.
If you are not coming with a group from your church, contact the Warm Beach Camp Registration Department and they will help you (see contact information below).
We will need a written and signed registration form for everyone, which includes health information. If you are in need of a scholarship, please talk with your Youth Pastor or Senior Pastor.
Church groups should bring appropriate leadership and volunteer counselors. If you are going to come as a counselor the cost is $45.
