Enjoy a breathtaking boating experience through the vast wetlands of Port Susan Bay, where hundreds of different types of waterfowl make their home.
Canoeing can be used as recreation or instructional time. It's a fantastic place to study estuary ecosystems!
Guests have their choice of a canoe or a kayak, which can hold from one to three people each. During each sesson, a lifeguard is present to give instruction and provide life jackets. Sessions are 1 hour 15 minutes for up to 34 people (includes instruction time)
Availability of the canoes is dependent on the height of the tides. Tickets are purchased through the receptionist starting at 8am for canoeing going on that day only. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Warm Beach Camp's summer camp programs may include canoeing at no additional charge.
Cost: $15 per hour per boat
Ages: Minimum age 7 (no age minimum with adult supervision)
Seasonal Availability: May 1-September 30 when tides permit (as scheduled by Warm Beach Camp)
For all group arrangments, a group leader must make reservations as early as possible, at least 3 weeks before the event. Group requests must have a guaranteed minimum of 5 canoes.
