A Year of Growth, Grit, and Grace

As we look back on this past year of 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible transformation we’ve witnessed—within our staff, our students, our horses, and our community. This has been a year marked by intentional growth, renewed purpose, and a deepening commitment to the mission that drives our horse program.

At the heart of our program is a mission: to provide transformational experiences of the love and truth of God through horses, riding, and horse related activities. This year, we leaned into that mission more intentionally than ever. The result has been unmistakable. Our team has grown closer, our purpose has grown clearer, and the impact on our riders has grown deeper. What began as a commitment has become a culture—one that radiates through every lesson, every interaction, and every moment spent in the barn.

Our staff poured themselves into developing their horsemanship, sharpening their abilities while deepening their passion for the partnership between horse and rider. Through clinics, hands on practice, and continued education, our team has strengthened the foundation that allows us to serve riders and horses with excellence, learning how to adapt to each unique combination of personalities, experiences, and learning styles. No two riders are the same, no two horses are the same, and watching those pairs learn to communicate and trust each other has been one of the most rewarding parts of our year.

Perhaps the most beautiful transformation, though, has been in the lives of the kids who ride with us. In a world that often pushes perfection and comparison, our arena has become a place where mistakes are simply part of learning, where value isn’t tied to performance, and where emotions—big or small—can be worked through with honesty and resilience. Riders learned to look for the good, to build friendships instead of competition, and to experience the power of genuine community.

As we look ahead, we’re grateful for every horse, every rider, and every moment of growth we witnessed this year. Here’s to another year of connection, courage, and Christ centered transformation.

The Barn Changed Me

Before the barn, I felt like I was missing something—like my purpose began and ended with being a mom and a wife. While those roles are sacred, I knew deep down there was more of me waiting to be found. I was searching for myself… learning how to honor my truth, how to listen to my own voice, and how to step into confidence in who I am. Then I found the barn. And slowly, quietly… it began to change ...

Celebrating the People Who Make Camp Possible

At Warm Beach Camp, gratitude isn’t just something we say—it’s something we live. Every season, every camper story, and every moment of transformation is made possible through the faithful support of an incredible community. That’s why The Great Camp Thank You, previously known as Warm Beach Camp Ministries Open House, is such a meaningful tradition. It is our opportunity to pause, gather, and say from the bottom of our hearts: Thank you! On Sunday, May 17, 2026, Warm Beach Camp will ...

A Therapeutic Experience

Each summer, Warm Beach Camp has the privilege of welcoming teens and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities to Camp SunSparrow to attend a week of Day Camp. During this time, they have fun, make friends, and gain new and impactful life skills and experiences. Amidst the busyness of the summer months, one activity that stands out is the thoughtfully coordinated horse encounter, which is brought by Warm Beach Horsemanship team members one afternoon a week. This activity has ...
