Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

This morning was a beautiful time with God. He met with me in the early morning hours around a warming fire and a cup of dark roast coffee. In prayer and reflection, God showed me His faithfulness in my life.
He led me to a view point where all I see is His faithfulness.
To be sure, there is much going on in life that I do not understand. Everything is not as I want it to be. There are unanswered prayer requests to challenging situations. My own mind and heart deal with a range of thoughts and emotions in navigating every day.
In a fresh way, today, God showed me of His great faithfulness in all of my life. He is challenging me to see life through the lens of His faithfulness to me.
When a relationship is under stress, God is at work, faithfully leading people to restoration. When plans are not working, God directs our steps. When resources are tight, God is supplying needs. When the spirit is discouraged, the Holy Spirit brings encouragement. When self-condemnation rages, Jesus reminds us that He does not condemn us, He saves and restores us.
All I see is the faithfulness of God.
Encouragement: Ask God to open your eyes and heart to see nothing but His faithfulness in your life. Ask Him to help you make sense of life by seeing your life today through the lens of His faithfulness.
Prayer: Dear Father God, what a gift You have given us today. To see our lives through the lens of Your faithfulness. To know that Your involvement in our lives is far deeper than our interpretation of what we see. You are faithful in our lives, even when we do not reciprocate. Thank You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
