Always Improving

By “keeping the path clear to the cross,” lives can change and, in turn, communities can be transformed through the programs at Warm Beach Camp. One key element to all of this is to have well-maintained and beautiful grounds and facilities that are not a hindrance or distraction from the good people experience at Camp.

Two major projects were completed in 2019. The remodeling of Cascadian Lodge and the repaving of Cedar Lodge loop. These significantly improve the quality of experience of Camp. In addition, Glacier and Whistler Lodges received new sinks and counters in their lobbies. The Program Center auditorium interior was painted and acoustic treatment was added to the stage. A new privacy fence was added to the entrance of Camp. Two houses were painted, and new windows were installed in several more. Many other needed, but less visible, improvements were also made.

In 2020, two major project areas will be the Chinook Village Cabins and Snohomish County required surface water drainage improvements across from the main entrance of Camp. Numerous small projects such as painting, roofing, and flooring will be done as well. Landscaping improvements will unfold as usual. The Program Center courtyard will also be improved.

The continuous improvements to the ground and facilities add value to the guest experience and sustain the effectiveness of the ministry over the years to come. We are grateful for the generous donations and willing hands that make these possible. Together we are keeping the path clear to the cross.

Through the dynamics of a relationship between horse and rider, a greater understanding ...

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT Have you ever been in a situation where someone told you to hold on tight? ...
