Planting – Because God First Loved Us

When somebody shows love to us first, there is a natural and healthy desire to do or say something nice in response to the expression of love.  We want to give love in return.  Often, we may even ask a simple question: Is there something I can do for you?

When we consider God, we know that He has shown us love before anyone else.  It creates a wonderful opportunity for us to consider what we can do for Him.  Thankfully, the Bible gives us insight into what matters to God.  The Holy Spirit draws near and confirms specifics that are built upon the truth of Scripture.

One of the things God loves is the planting of things that will bear good fruit.  He asks us to plant generously and to prepare the soil where we plant.  When we think of “preparing the soil” at each campus of Warm Beach Camp Ministries, we recognize there are so many wonderful opportunities for planting seeds of God’s love into the lives of others.

In response to God’s love, we are inviting people to experience His amazing love through adventure, renewal, rest, and good honest fun.  We want people to experience this story of God’s love firsthand.

In response to God’s love, we are planting seeds of collaboration to work with group leaders in planning, developing, and executing the best experiences possible to meet the goals for a deeper walk with Christ and others in community with Christ.

In response to God’s love, we are planting seeds of hospitality to help educators and other non-profit leaders, meet the educational and social needs of the people they serve.  We do this out of God’s amazing love.

Because God first loved us, our desire is to provide life-changing experiences in 2021 at Black Diamond Camp, the Rainier Campus, and Warm Beach Camp.  We want to reflect His love to each guest and camper, that they would experience it firsthand. Will you pray with us to that end?
