Benefits of camping to health and life

By Jo Reed, Marketing Coordinator

Everyone can benefit from a camping experience in many ways. Here are my favorites:

  1. Outdoors, nature, sunshine, fresh air – more oxygen and sunlight brings less stress to your body and soul
  2. New challenges, activities, exercise – fun activities bring enjoyment and re-creation
  3. Simplicity – when distractions of daily life are removed it brings a feeling of calm and you can find a renewed joy
  4. Solitude and meditation – emotional and spiritual rest helps to connect you with God and can bring a positive outlook in life
  5. Strengthened relationships – time together in a relaxed and fun setting broadens friendships and reconnects family This summer, go camping and experience renewal, body and soul.

From serving guests ...

Imagine hearing from your youth group leader that there is an upcoming camp retreat and everyone is invited. As cheers of excitement fill the room, a lump ...
