Briefly…

Horseback Riding and Vaulting Lessons are being offered this winter. These weekly lessons are ideal for riders to sustain the riding improvements they experience during summer camp. For more information, contact Patti at Warm Beach Camp, or log onto the Camp’s website.

When the cost of fuel was sky-high, some people had to park their full-size pickup trucks, and others tried to sell them. If you have a full-size pickup that you’ve discovered you no longer really need, would you be willing to donate it to the Camp? We can provide you with a letter of receipt for tax purposes, and put your truck to work, helping support the ministry of WBC. For more information, contact Gary Kocher at the Camp.

Want to get the Sounder online? Go to the Camp’s website to subscribe to the online version.

Does your church want to hold a women’s or men’s retreat, but you do not want the hassle and just plain work of organizing the retreat yourself? Consider bringing your women’s group to Warm Beach Women’s Retreats April 24-26 or May 1-3, 2009. You’ll be able to do things together as a group as well as listen to the amazing teaching of former Women of Faith speaker, Thelma Wells. Men’s Advance is March 6-8, 2009, with local favorite, Rod Brown. For more information, contact Warm Beach Camp’s Registration Department.

If you would like to help the Camp with a financial gift, you can make your donation online through our secure online system. You can even establish a recurring donation so you don’t have to worry about writing monthly checks. Log on to the Camp’s website and look clink on “Support WBC.” Thank you.

Warm Beach Natural Wonders Outdoor Education is available for your school this year. Not only can we conduct your school’s camp on our site, but we can bring portable classes and team-building initiatives to your school.

Do you have some time and the desire to volunteer? We are always looking for people willing to help with a wide variety of projects around the Camp. From projects requiring skilled trades professionals to ones that take no special skills at all – we have something you can help with. Please call the Camp to speak with Volunteer Coordinator, Jessica Beach.

Warm Beach Camp’s new portable Initiatives Course means that we can bring team-building initiatives to you! Our facilitators will come to your location with a custom program to work on group skills, learning teamwork, communication, personal growth or anything else through challenging activities for the mind and body. Fun for everyone, this is ideal for your business, school, church, missions team, or club. If you are not able to come to WBC, we can now come to you. For more information or to schedule your group, please call Warm Beach Camp.

Warm Beach Camp hosts scores of school, church, governmental, and non-profit events each year. If you, or someone you know, is planning a camp, conference, training program, or retreat, suggest they contact WBC or go to our website.
