Drew Smith, who works in the Camp’s Recreation Department, and wife, Alex, are new parents of their first child, a baby boy, Isaiah, born on February 25, 2008. Congratulations to Drew and Alex.

Noted speaker and author, Tony Campolo, is coming to WBC on February 13-15, 2009. Sponsored by Warm Beach Camp and REACH Ministries, this Potter’s Wheel Retreat features the ministry of Dr. Campolo, honorary chair of REACH Ministries, who is internationally renowned for his passionate heart for the gospel that shapes our heart’s response to the poor and marginalized of the world. Horseback Riding and Vaulting Lessons are being offered through summer. These weekly lessons are ideal for riders to sustain the riding improvements they experience during summer camp. For more information, contact Patti at Warm Beach Camp.

If you’ve got the time, we’ve got a project! We are always looking for people willing to help with a wide variety of projects around the Camp. From projects requiring skilled trades professionals to ones that take no special skills at all – we have something you can help with. Please call the Camp to speak with Volunteer Coordinator, or email Jessica Beach.

Warm Beach Camp’s new portable Initiatives Course means that we can bring team-building initiatives to you! Our facilitators will come to your location with a custom program to work on group skills, learning, teamwork, communication, personal growth or anything else through challenging activities for the mind and body. Fun for everyone, this is ideal for your business, school, church, missions team or club. If you are not able to come to WBC, we can now come to you. Preparing Leaders through Horsemanship

Warm Beach Horsemanship fosters a wide array of hopeful young riders each year. The WIT (Wrangler in Training) program is designed to develop horsemanship, schooling, and teaching skills in a ministry-based environment. Within a WIT’s time at Warm Beach, they sharpen and practice skills in horse handling, schooling horses with specific goals in mind, riding with a strong basic balanced position, and finding connection with the horse. Welcome Meg and Aly!

Warm Beach Camp is excited to welcome the new Assistant Horsemanship Director, Meg Rudy, and Barn manager, Aly Arnold! Meg Rudy Meg grew up at a camp near Spokane, Washington. Her parents were involved in the Horsemanship program, where Meg developed a love for horses and riding from a very young age. When her family moved to Idaho to run a ranch, she continued to ride horses and was involved in boarding and lessons. She is a CHA level 4 ...
