Briefly…

Christmas Year-around! Just because we took the lights down doesn’t mean we are done with The Lights of Christmas. Many exciting plans are being made for our thirteenth season opening December 3! If you would like to help with welding, construction, design, and décor, please contact Keith Yarter, Director of The Lights of Christmas. He’ll find a project that is right for you and that will greatly bless thousands of people this next holiday season. It takes a year-round effort to get The Lights on every year.

Does your church want to hold a women’s retreat? If you don’t want the hassle and work involved in organizing the retreat yourself, consider bringing your women’s group to Warm Beach Women’s Retreats April 24-26 or May 1-3, 2009. You’ll be able to do things together as a group as well as listen to the amazing teaching of Women of Faith speaker, Thelma Wells. For more information, contact Warm Beach Camp’s Registration Department or register online.

If you would like to help the Camp with a financial gift, you can make your donation online through our secure online system. You can even establish a recurring donation so you don’t have to worry about writing monthly checks. Log on to the Camp’s website and click on “Support WBC.” Thank you.

Warm Beach Family Camp welcomes Walt Wiley, Executive Director of Winning with Encouragement and former chaplain for the Atlanta Braves, to the Program Center evening chapel. Warm Beach Natural Wonders Outdoor Education is available for your school this year. Not only can we conduct your school’s camp on our site, but we can bring portable classes and team-building initiatives to your school.

Horseback Riding and Vaulting Lessons are being offered this spring. These weekly lessons are ideal for riders to sustain the riding improvements they experience during summer camp. For more information, contact Patti at Warm Beach Camp, or go to the Camp’s website.

Warm Beach Challenge Course offers team building experiences not only on our site with the high and low ropes course, climbing tower, and field initiatives, but can also bring team building to your workplace, school, church, or club. Trained facilitators using creative group activities and thoughtful debriefing can help your group achieve powerful new levels of communication, trust, and teamwork. For more information, contact Warm Beach Camp.

Warm Beach Camp hosts dozens of school, church, governmental, and non-profit events each year. If you or someone you know is planning a camp, conference, training program, or retreat, suggest they contact WBC or go to our website.
