Building a Foundation
At Warm Beach Horsemanship, we are in the business of building substantial foundations. We lay groundwork for strong and capable horseman, communicative teammates, bold leaders, and brave disciples. In Luke, Chapter 6:47-48, Jesus speaks to the wisdom of a strong foundation:
“As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.”
Warm Beach Horsemanship strives in its mission to create transformational experiences, to support a spiritual foundation for growth and a connection to Christ.
The program stands on a foundation of faith that strengthens the impact of our services on students, allowing us to reach beyond horsemanship skills, life, and leadership skills and invest in their spiritual health and engagement. We provide a competent and accurate skill foundation helping horsemen to reach their goals or simply build their experience from the ground up. But that foundation of faith is the basis for all we do. Without it, the program would not stand.
“But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.” Luke 6:49
My Prayer:
Dear God, I pray that we would continue to build this solid foundation, rooted in You, guided by Your Holy Spirit and in Your word.
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love…” Ephesians 3:16-17
I pray that Your voice be heard that we may be used as instruments for Your plans and we may reach the hearts of those You bring to us.
