Camp reaches goal for Cedar Lodge grant
December 31, 2009
Faced with a looming deadline, it was down to the wire when the last pledge came in on December 31, 2009 to reach the goal and complete the funding for the first three phases on renovation work to be done on Cedar Lodge. This has allowed the Camp to submit the paperwork to claim the $490,000 completion grant from the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust.
We praise God for His faithfulness, and we are very grateful for all of the people who gave the gifts and made pledges that brought us to the finish line. We hope to begin construction in Fall 2010 on the first phase of renovation in this project: moving the restrooms to the main floor of Cedar Lodge. Phase II and III are scheduled to begin in May of 2011.
