This position supports the marketing and communications efforts of Warm Beach Camp (WBC) by focusing upon capturing and telling the ministry story via print and electronic media: which will include but not be limited to blogs, electronic and print newsletter articles and social media. This position will also assist with marketing/communications projects that amplify the story of life change and the opportunity available to make a difference by giving to or participating in the ministry of WBC.
First and foremost, this person must demonstrate a commitment to the beliefs, mission and values of WBC. They must be proficient in social media platforms and be familiar with Adobe CS, HTML, video and photo editing. Excellent communication and presentation skills and outstanding organization and planning abilities are required. The person in this position must have a high aptitude for learning, utilizing new technologies and developing new skills.

Do you love building strong team and preparing delicious food that blesses guests of all ages? Warm Beach Camp is looking for a Head Chef who loves God and other people, is a servant leader who builds healthy teams, and enjoys serving quality meals. Heading up the kitchen requires strong people skills, attention to detail, culinary skill, and good time management. This position works collaboratively and supportively with the Food Services Manager to deliver outstanding meals and build a strong team. Many of the crew are entering the workforce for the first time, so the Head Chef has incredible opportunity to speak positively into young lives in route to providing exceptional guest service. The majority of a Head Chef's time will be cooking and leading the crew during meal periods. As well, the Head Chef will oversee the general output of other cooks who are needed for peak seasons.
Beyond the general qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp staff, we are looking for a person who is adaptable, self-starting, a servant leader and able to work with a minimum of supervision. This person must work well under presure and be able to meet multiple deadlines; must have expereince managing a kitchen operation and supervising crew, and must have a proven ability to work with a wide rangee of ages, temperaments and expereince. A minimum of two to four years of instituional cooking and supervision is required.

Administrative Assistant-Development Department
This position will support the overall Development effort of the Camp by processing all financial contributions, performing Raiser’s Edge administrative tasks, and assisting with special event functions. This position may begin as soon as it is filled. This is a year-round, part time hourly position and may at times involve evening or weekend work.
Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBC staff, we are looking for a person with organizational and people skills. This person must work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines, maintain strict confidentiality and pay strong attention to detail. This person shall at all times, demonstrate cooperation with colleagues, volunteers and management.
Gift Store Cashier & Barista-The Lights of Christmas
Duties include operating cash register, taking drink orders and running espresso machine. Oversee the operation of the store, restocking, taking orders, making drinks and assisting customers.
Previous cashier and barista experience required. Full availability encouraged for every night we are open during the event. 6-8 hours nightly, primarily Thursday - Sunday afternoon/evenings. 1 cashier and barista position will be AM shifts 2-3 hours primarily Friday - Mondays. Must be 18 or older. Positions will begin in October or early November for training and some positions will have the potential to continue year-round.
Accommodations Team Member-The Lights of Christmas
Duties will include general housekeeping tasks related to guest rooms and facilities supporting The Lights of Christmas event. Laundry room shifts are available as well.
Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBC staff, we are looking for people who are flexible, teachable, work with minimal supervision and are team players. Must be age 15 or older.
These positions will begin in October. Shifts increase during December correlating with The Lights of Christmas schedule. Some positions have the potential to continue year-round. These are daytime, midweek and weekend shifts. Weekend availability is required.
Food Service Worker-The Lights of Christmas
Positions will include kitchen prep, cooks, venue crew members and supervisors and dinner theater wait staff. Hours vary by position but most positions will be Thursday-Sunday late afternoons to evenings for every night of the event that we are open.
Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBC staff, we are looking for a person with whom is flexible, teachable, self-starting, a team player, and able to work with a minimum of supervision. This person must also know safe food handling practices and follow them and have a current Food Handler's Card. Must be 16 or older. Positions may start in earlier November but most will begin the last week of November.
Parking Captain-The Lights of Christmas
Duties include assisting in the parking of the vehicles during the event and supervising the volunteers assigned to your area while maintaining a safe and customer service environment.
Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBC staff, we are looking for a person who is 18 or older and physically able to be on their feet and outside for the duration of the shift. Hours and shifts consist primarily of Thursday-Sunday afternoon/evenings, 6-8 hours nightly. Full availability encouraged for every night we are open. Positions will begin the last week of November.

We conduct random drug tests at Warm Beach Camp. Submission to such testing is a condition of employment at Warm Beach Camp.
Warm Beach Christian Camps and Conference Center maintains a sacred trust over the health and safety of any guests and staff especially children, our most vulnerable population. There is zero tolerance for abuse of any kind, physical, sexual or emotional. In order to protect against the potential of abuse, specific procedures are required of staff.
