God Can Be Trusted

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

Hebrews 10:23 NLT

Where trust exists, hope is likely to be nearby. The two work together. Trust gives hope confidence. Hope fuels trust. Hope thrives in relationships that can be trusted.

One of the big challenges of today is the issue of “who can be trusted.” There is not one person or system that, on more than one occasion, has not let us down. As a result, hope is challenged in the context of broken trust.

Yet, hope is resilient. There is a tenacity in hope that seeks what’s best.

There is one relationship that can be trusted always. God can be trusted every time. God keeps His word. He never lies or deceives. There is no wrong in Him. God has nothing but pure motives, thoughts and actions. God can be trusted always.

Time spent with God renews hope in life. In God, there is no brokenness. Everything is whole. Hope pursues God and His beautiful perfection. God has built His relationship with us on trust. He has made incredible covenants that He keeps.

Encouragement: Take time to speak your trust in God today. Think of the ways God has shown Himself to be trustworthy in your life. Verbalize His trust. Write it down. Be prepared for an increase of hope. Hold on with hope as you go though a challenging time.

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for being trustworthy. Thank you for always keeping your promises to me. Thank You for being pure and good with out any deceptions. You are completely trustworthy. With hope I hang onto You in a very challenging time knowing that You will keep Your word in my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

NEXT- He will keep me in His love, and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child. THEN- He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He means me to learn, and working in ...

Ride of a Lifetime

“Don’t you want to retire so you can do all the things you’ve ever dreamed about?” It’s a question that I’ve been asked a lot. My answer, “I have gotten to do way more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams these last 50 years in Christian Camping!” Little did we realize what was ahead when my husband, Stan, was finishing up his last trek of college education. We were lying on a blanket, soaking up the ...

The Barn Changed Me

Before the barn, I felt like I was missing something—like my purpose began and ended with being a mom and a wife. While those roles are sacred, I knew deep down there was more of me waiting to be found. I was searching for myself… learning how to honor my truth, how to listen to my own voice, and how to step into confidence in who I am. Then I found the barn. And slowly, quietly… it began to change ...
