God Can Be Trusted

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

Hebrews 10:23 NLT

Where trust exists, hope is likely to be nearby. The two work together. Trust gives hope confidence. Hope fuels trust. Hope thrives in relationships that can be trusted.

One of the big challenges of today is the issue of “who can be trusted.” There is not one person or system that, on more than one occasion, has not let us down. As a result, hope is challenged in the context of broken trust.

Yet, hope is resilient. There is a tenacity in hope that seeks what’s best.

There is one relationship that can be trusted always. God can be trusted every time. God keeps His word. He never lies or deceives. There is no wrong in Him. God has nothing but pure motives, thoughts and actions. God can be trusted always.

Time spent with God renews hope in life. In God, there is no brokenness. Everything is whole. Hope pursues God and His beautiful perfection. God has built His relationship with us on trust. He has made incredible covenants that He keeps.

Encouragement: Take time to speak your trust in God today. Think of the ways God has shown Himself to be trustworthy in your life. Verbalize His trust. Write it down. Be prepared for an increase of hope. Hold on with hope as you go though a challenging time.

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for being trustworthy. Thank you for always keeping your promises to me. Thank You for being pure and good with out any deceptions. You are completely trustworthy. With hope I hang onto You in a very challenging time knowing that You will keep Your word in my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Living under God’s Attentiveness

Photo by Jude Beck on Unsplash Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and ...

Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/exo.14.14.NLT  I have come to understand in the human experience there are the “Just before” moments that tend to call into question everything that is about to happen: Just before the wedding, a nervous bride or groom thinks or says “should I really be doing this?” Just before opening or expanding a ministry or business, there can be a wave of ...
