How a family has been forever changed at Warm Beach Camp

Lutheran Brethren Family Bible Camp has been going for 69 years. Fifty-five of those years have been in ministry partnership with Warm Beach Camp, forming a family-like relationship. Zoe and her family have been a part of their Family Camp for many years. Her testimony bears witness to the amazing ways God changes lives at Warm Beach Camp.

“I want to thank everyone at Warm Beach Camp for keeping the path clear to the cross all these years. It has made all the difference in our family. For a long time my husband did not know Christ. He is a long haul truck driver, and could be a hard person to live with before Christ. In 2002 he made a commitment to come to camp with our family. Towards the end of the week, he responded to the invitation to meet and accept Jesus Christ.”

The positive change in the family was dramatic and enduring. Zoe cherishes the photos of her husband being ordained an Elder in the Lutheran Brethren Church a few years later. Her family has been forever changed for the good.

One of her sons, a Navy sailor, recently recounted how much it meant to him to attend Lutheran Brethren Family Camp through his childhood years. He even decided to donate campership money so others could continue to come and grow up with the same significant experience at camp.

Zoe’s story illustrates the ways that life changes here. We are grateful for all those who work faithfully in partnering with us to keep the path clear to the cross.

Through the dynamics of a relationship between horse and rider, a greater understanding ...

Hold on Tight!

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT Have you ever been in a situation where someone told you to hold on tight? ...
