Kids 2 Camp program is impacting lives!

858 kids2Camp KidFor the past 12 years, the Kids 2 Camp Fund has provided a way for kids to attend camp at Warm Beach, regardless of financial ability to pay. In a caring and compassionate environment at camp, each child is presented with the love and good news of Jesus Christ.

Recently, the Camp received an email from the Executive Director of one of the partnership organizations where Kids 2 Camp funds were used to help bring 30 of their kids to Warm Beach Summer Camps. Here, in part, is what he had to say:

“I certainly don’t need to tell you how impactful camp is for any child, but for these children whose life experience has been living in extreme poverty, the experience is much greater. These children have likely never experienced a family vacation, or camping, or swimming or even being out of the city. Imagine stepping from their world into Warm Beach Camp for a week. To say that this is a lifelong memory or a life-changing experience is not an overstatement. It may well have been the highlight of their young lives.”

By the end of 2014, more than $173,000 was given out in Kids 2 Camp scholarships, helping more than 1,500 campers attend camp at Warm Beach Camp. For some, they only need a partial scholarship to be able to come. But, whatever it takes, Warm Beach Camp is committed to finding a way for kids to attend camp.

The Kids 2 Camp program is only possible because of the generous contributions from many, many people. If you would like to help, you may give a gift through our website at Kids2CampFund.com, or mark your gift for the Kids 2 Camp program and mail it to the Warm Beach Camp.
