Lessons for Life

“And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians 6:9

The Riding Lesson program at Warm Beach Horsemanship continues to thrive as many realize these lessons don’t only improve riding skills, but they also develop valuable life skills.

Riding lessons provide an amazing opportunity for ministry! Warm Beach Horsemanship staff build relationships through regular weekly interaction with students. Through this, students experience the love of Christ, coupled with the process of improving their riding skills. They also develop important life skills such as leadership, confidence, purpose, and communication. The importance of love, trust, and respect is also emphasized through interacting with the horses, staff, and other participants.  Seeing students thrive in this environment is so incredibly rewarding!

During the summer of 2021, Warm Beach Horsemanship was blessed to have an incredible team of Wranglers and Wranglers in Training (WITs) comprised of seasoned riding lesson students.  Watching them teach, mentor, and encourage younger participants brought such warmth and joy to the year-round staff! Seeing how far these Wranglers and WITs have come, not just in their horsemanship skills, but as young leaders who are now confident, compassionate, hard-working, dedicated, and seeking God, is proof of the phenomenal life-changing impact this program has in the lives of so many.

Warm Beach Horsemanship offers riding lessons six days per week and serves students ranging in ages from 4 to 77. It’s a privilege to partner with our horse ambassadors to accomplish Kingdom work. Everyday lives are changing here!

I am always excited to get to know a new horse and their personality. However, it didn’t take long to realize this sweet mare harbored a lot of anxiety and worry. I tried to coax her into calmness with gentleness and patience, but she still didn’t fully trust me. When ...
