See & read about what is going on in the Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center community

An incredible year

Quiet and focused, he stood with his family at the Nativity scene. His family was enjoying the beauty of The Lights of Christmas festival and soon drifted off towards Joyland, leaving Dad alone. His eyes were glued to the passage of scripture sitting right next to the baby Jesus. Line by line he read it silently and reflectively. God was speaking to him.

Life changes here.

During summer camp this year, the theme for Friday was “Truth” with the subtitle, “What lies about yourself have you believed as if they were true?” The camp pastor would speak the truth of scripture that describes how God sees us. We are His creation. We are loved. There is nothing we can do to make God love us more than he already does. He knows our name. He will never leave or forsake us. We are wonderfully made and have incredible value.

Each camper had the opportunity to write down a lie they had believed to be true and nail it to a wooden cross. Literally, campers were exchanging lies for the truth. The cross was full of deceptions young people believed. They were set free to the truth of who they are in Christ.

Life Changes here.

Over 300 groups come to Warm Beach Camp for specific purposes. Many want to grow in God. Others want to learn about better relationships. Some come for outdoor education, and others come for sport camps.

What everyone finds is a place and a people where God is present and at work. The Holy Spirit connects with people. Our hospitality is often the conduit for transferring God’s grace.

“We appreciate the attention and care we always receive from everyone at Warm Beach, and are blessed to be able to hold our events with you!” – Guest Group leader

“I had a good time connecting with my son.” – Dads and Sons Weekend attendee

“My son looks forward to camp. He loves it! His counselor was patient and kind and the atmosphere made him feel a sense of belonging.” – Summer Youth Camp parent

These are only a few of the encouraging words we have received throughout the year. God changes lives at Warm Beach Camp and we are blessed to be part of that journey.

We wish you a happy New Year and many blessing to you and your family.
