Work continues on turning that space into new office and storage areas, and an enlarged laundry. Here is the latest news on the Camp projects currently underway: The old restrooms in Lower Cedar Lodge have been dismantled in preparation for the renovation work to come. Throughout the year, we will be moving offices and storage areas around to free up the space to install a larger walk-in cooler and freezer. These beautiful signs that now border the Camp’s main entrance were a gift from the Kanehen family in loving memory of wife and mother, Elizabeth Kanehen. Here is the latest news on the Camp projects currently underway: The Special Friends Camping program moved to its new home, Chinook Village, this summer. With funds from Men’s Advance, Women’s Retreat, and a couple of foundation grants, we were able to make improvements to the Nurse’s Station and associated restroom and to the Chinook Cabins. The Camp has been mandated by the County Health Department to replace the home-style refrigerators in use in areas where food is served or food concessions are sold, with commercial-grade refrigerators.
