Canoeing can be used as recreation or instructional time. It's a fantastic place to study estuary ecosystems!
Guests have their choice of a canoe or a kayak, which can hold from one to three people each. During each sesson, a lifeguard is present to give instruction and provide life jackets. Sessions are 1 hour 15 minutes for up to 34 people (includes instruction time)
Availability of the canoes is dependent on the height of the tides. Canoeing may be part of a guest group's program or Warm Beach Camp program guests may join their group scheduled session (extra fee may apply).
For all group arrangements, a group leader must make reservations as early as possible, at least 3 weeks before the event. Group requests must have a guaranteed minimum of 5 canoes.
Cost: $15 per hour per boat
Ages: Minimum age 7 (no age minimum with adult supervision)
Seasonal Availability: May 1-September 30 when tides permit (as scheduled by Warm Beach Camp)
