Safe Spaces to Explore One’s Faith

Finding encouragement and community while experiencing hope, rest, faith, and surrender. Those coming to Warm Beach Camp Ministries are having transformational experiences each and every day. Here are just a few:

  • A group of underserved youth from Tacoma stayed at Rainier Camp & Retreat Center through the non-profit Peak 7 Adventures. Venturing out into the vast wilderness for the first time, these youth had space to just be kids, connect with one another, and discover a newfound love for creation. “They are the highest risk group we work with, and they had an absolute blast! It was really awesome to build strong connections with these young teens and their leaders.” said Taylor King, Peak 7 Adventures Program Director.

  • A Family Camp that has stayed and been hosted at Warm Beach Camp since the early 1970s. This group has a shared vision for the Kingdom of God growing through Christian camping and a commitment to keeping the path clear to the cross of Jesus Christ, a partnership that spans the test of time. New generations arrive at Warm Beach experiencing the love of Christ, and a fun-filled experience at Camp becomes so much more.

  • Jacob, a five-year-old boy, spread kindness to every person he encountered while attending Black Diamond Camp’s Day Camp. Jacob boldly went around and said “Hi!” to every staff member and camper with a big smile on his face. He was eager to try new activities and invoked a childlike faith in all. He exhibited compassion and awareness that far surpassed his physical years. Everyone at Day Camp was greatly affected by Jacob and was grateful to see God’s joy resonate through him. In return, Black Diamond Staff blessed the family with a safe place where Jacob could be himself, allowing him to share the love he has for life and everyone he came across.

  • An insecure teen girl questioning where she belonged was warmly welcomed and encouraged by the Warm Beach Horsemanship staff. Their interactions helped foster respect and compassion within herself. This young lady blossomed in the Christ-centered environment of the Barn.  She looked forward to the responsibility of caring for and effectively communicating with the horse in her care. Through horse lessons, she was also equipped with invaluable life skills that will serve her well in the future.

By providing safe spaces to explore one’s faith, Christ is taking root in the lives of our guests. Warm Beach Camp Ministries is on course to serve 118,000 people throughout 2025. That is 118,000 encounters with Christ, and you help make that possible! Thank you for coming alongside and partnering with Warm Beach Camp Ministries.

Set Apart Youth

Youth today are bombarded by countless streams of entertainment and information. How are these young people supposed to find peace and purpose in their lives if they don’t have access to quiet and peaceful places to be refreshed? This past winter, 230 teenagers had the opportunity to visit Warm Beach Camp to escape the demands of everyday life and realized the power of deliberate living. Community Church of Seattle (CCS) hosted its NEXT Winter Retreat at Warm Beach Camp this ...

Trust and Deliverance

Here are some words of guidance for times of trouble from a very wise person. IN TIME OF TROUBLE SAY: FIRST- He brought me here-it is by His will I am in this strait place; in that will I rest. NEXT- He will keep me in His love, and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child. THEN- He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He means me to learn, and working in ...

Ride of a Lifetime

“Don’t you want to retire so you can do all the things you’ve ever dreamed about?” It’s a question that I’ve been asked a lot. My answer, “I have gotten to do way more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams these last 50 years in Christian Camping!” Little did we realize what was ahead when my husband, Stan, was finishing up his last trek of college education. We were lying on a blanket, soaking up the ...
