Simply Being Together

Connection. Fun. Rest. Renewal. Friends. Family. Faith.

What do these words have in common? They are all part of the amazing experience families have when they attend the Warm Bach Family Campout that happens every July.

Last summer, Warm Beach Camp hosted 60 families for an activity-packed weekend! The long weekend (Thursday – Sunday) was filled with fun activities, recreation, games, arts & crafts, movie night, swimming, and treats from the Snack Shack…fun for all ages! But what makes Family Campout truly special each year is the intentional time set apart for families to connect, have conversations, play games, and laugh together.

In our busy, schedule-filled lives, taking time to put away phones, turn off computers and truly focus on time together as a family is a luxury. And that is exactly what the Family Campout provides. Yes, there are activities, but the highest priority is providing plenty of time to just be together as a family, play games, laugh together, and make connections with other families seeking the same thing. Family-friendly worship services provide time for parents and children together to hear messages of faith, hope, and transformation. Throughout the long weekend, beautiful connections are made.

When we are given the chance to remove all the distractions from our lives, it’s amazing what can happen. Simply being together can make such a difference for families.

This summer, Warm Beach is expanding the Family Campout experience, operating from Wednesday to Sunday. Enjoy 5-days of self-serve recreation activities such as mini-golf, tennis/basketball courts, miles of hiking trails, and disc golf! Bring your own tent or RV to stay in the beautiful campground or enjoy one of the on-site lodging options. There’s something for everyone. Part-time meal options are available for those family members that can’t attend the whole time.

Whether you’re a first-time camper or a seasoned outdoor enthusiast, the Warm Beach Family Campout offers a unique experience immersed in natural beauty. Step away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy plenty of opportunities for your family to learn, play, and grow together. Join us this summer for a 5-day escape and connect with those closest to you!

Small Beginnings, Big Outcomes

Jesus uses the smallest of beginnings (mustard seed and yeast) to describe big outcomes. Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.” Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making ...
