The Kids 2 Camp Benefit Auction Recap!

What a joy to be back together in person again for the Kids 2 Camp Benefit Auction. After two years of hosting the Kids 2 Camp Auction online due to Covid, we honestly didn’t quite know what to expect! There were quite a few changes from what we had done in 2019 including hosting it during Family Camp in the end of July, moving from the Big Top tent to the Maple Center, adding many family fun elements (including free donuts!), raffle items and more.

What a wonderful day it was! An estimated 150 people attended with over $60,000 raised that day for scholarships through generous bidding, cash donations and raffle ticket sales. Praise the Lord! And thanks to generous donors who challenged us, we raised over $150,000 all told through the Auction efforts!

But it was also wonderful just to be together again for this event! There were many familiar faces and new ones as well. It was such a blessing to fellowship together and to watch God provide for opportunities of life-changing experiences at Camp!

History in the Making

Warm Beach Camp excitedly welcomed Evergreen Boys and Girls State back this June, during a joyous and momentous change to their program! With a commitment to provide exceptional experiences for young leaders, Washington State has joined the ranks of New Mexico, California, and others in offering a fully co-educational program under the authority of The American Legion Department of Washington.
