Therapeutic Vaulting

You can do it!

Therapeutic Vaulting is ideal for those who may be challenged by physical, cognitive, or emotional conditions where individualized attention in a therapeutic environment will reap the greatest rewards.

Vaulters develop their balance, strength, and flexibility while gaining personal confidence. It is a safe and supportive atmosphere where vaulters progress at their own pace. Classes are similar to the Warm Beach Vaulter’s competitive vaulting program, but with an emphasis on physical, cognitive, and social development.

Adaptive vaulters may choose to move toward competitive vaulting, but the classes are focused upon therapeutic benefit of vaulting rather than preparing for competition.

Class sizes are small with just four to six vaulters per 60 minute class. Each class has a horse handler, an instructor, and two or three assistants for individualized care and attention to the vaulters.

Caregivers/Guardians may participate in vaulting sessions as side walkers to provide support to the participant if needed. Prior arrangements must be authorized by therapeutic vaulting instructor.

Permission to Rest is Granted

This morning, in my time with God by the morning fire, the message was simple and clear: You have been granted permission to rest. Yet, the real challenge for me, and perhaps you too, is to receive and take the rest that has been generously granted to you and me. Will you take a few minutes to reflect with me on what God has to say about different types of rest? Scripture • For the weary person carrying heavy burdens ...

Just a Hint of Heaven

In Mark 6:30, Jesus called His disciples to “come away and rest by yourselves.” It was an invitation to separate themselves from the work of the Kingdom, from the press of the crowds, and from daily cares. And best of all, they got to just be with Jesus. That’s what coming to Warm Beach Camp has felt like for me personally. It’s been an invitation to come away and spend time with Jesus. I have been attending family camps at ...

Words from the Heart

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. Romans 10:10 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.10.10.NLT The writer of the book of Romans is sharing words from his heart. He wants everyone to understand the way to be made right with God. He longs for everyone to be saved. Listen to what is being said: Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and ...
