Warm Beach Horsemanship Pony Club

There is something remarkable happening down at the barn! When you blend a team with different strengths and skill sets, and they put God first in all they do, avenues open where the love of Christ becomes apparent to all involved. Through this divine orchestration, renewal, connections, and healing take place for individuals who only experience Warm Beach Camp through the Horsemanship program.

Pony Club is an educational course where members learn riding techniques and the proper care of horses in accordance with their skill set upon enrollment. The course helps develop and enhance leadership, confidence, responsibility, and a sense of community among the participants.

Pony Club at Warm Beach Camp offers a setting where a group of individuals has hands-on learning from professional instruction in a safe environment, allowing participants to let down their guard and be open to transformational experiences. Prior to the lessons, the participating teen girls did not connect with or feel accepted by their peers. Some of them recently went through challenging times at home. They were searching for a place to heal and feel seen. Through their newfound passion for horses, the girls quickly formed connections during the lessons. “You have helped bring life to all of them,” a mother told Lisa, the Horsemanship Director at Warm Beach Camp, about her daughter’s time at Pony Club. Adolescence can be a particularly trying time in someone’s life, and finding even one person you resonate with can make all the difference in the world!

With the Warm Beach Pony Club as the backdrop, the teenage girls established their own support system. This close-knit group now attends youth group together and has gone on outings to corn mazes and even have sleepovers! It was remarked, “I was just in awe of how all the girls truly enjoy and love each other. The giggles were music to my ears.” These girls have been blessed through divine encounters in finding authentic relationships with one another.

Lisa and her exceptional team do a fantastic job creating a dynamic environment where relationships blossom naturally. With the work that this passionate and skilled team is accomplishing by infusing the love of Christ into their teachings, growth within each person participating becomes a reality. Lives are changing down at the barn.
