When Jesus Comes….AGAIN
After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands.

There is a day coming, the timing of it is unknown, when Jesus returns to the earth and begins the full restoration and redemption of the world, and everyone on it. It will be an amazing time. I do not know if it will happen in my lifetime, but I know it will happen.
When this time comes, amazing things will happen. One of those things that I care deeply about is found in this verse from Revelation: A vast crowd…from every nation, tribe, people and language…standing before Jesus…
I wonder how many nations and tribes come through
Warm Beach Camp every year? It is quite diverse and seems to be growing. There are real challenges of trying to bring all of this together into one united effort. It is a beautiful challenge. The ultimate expression is being together before God.
In this verse of Revelation is a great picture of what Jesus will do when he returns to earth. He will bring all those who follow Him together. We will be united. We will treasure being together before Jesus.
The rest of Revelation chapter 7 speaks of healing those who have gone through much suffering and difficulties. What an amazing time this will be.
Encouragement: Between now and the return of Jesus, we are to prepare the way. Be accepting of people who are different than we are. Give forgiveness. Receive forgiveness. Ease someone’s hurt and pain as you are able to. Unite people and do the best you can to work with each other out of mutual love and respect.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for coming. We celebrate You this Christmas. Thank You for coming again to restore and redeem this world through Your very presence. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit as we live in between Your two comings. Help us prepare the way for You as we love people in this world today. In Your name Jesus, we pray. Amen.
