When I led a team, I would ask them what they were comfortable doing, and we’d get the job done faster. I do believe communication is big and I excited to grow more that area”.

Jessica described her roommate as “like a big sister.” She recalled evenings spent laughing together and the lessons that come from sharing life with someone new. “Having a roommate was so much fun… I think living with someone else makes you realize that you can’t just do whatever you want. We also had to learn how to communicate well and live in the same place.”

For Jessica, the internship clarified her calling: “I feel like my purpose is to help people and lead people to Christ. If I can inspire or encourage someone in Christ while working, that’s amazing. I just love being around community and people. Helping other people is what makes me the happiest.”
