Guest Services Event Coordinator
General Description: Serve on a dynamic team focused on Christ-centered hospitality! As a member of the Guest Services team, the employee in this position may fill both guest service host and registrar roles. From coordinating the details of an event being held on campus by a guest group, hosting them while here and assisting in helping them achieve their goals and mission to working with parents and attendees of our Horse Camp and other programed related events processing their registrations. This employee will support all operational departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests, being the hands and feet of Jesus as we provide Christ-centered environments, experiences and resources to draw people to God through camping ministries, conferences and events!
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBCM staff, we are looking for a person who has strong attention to detail, accurate and good follow-through. Must have strong customer service skills and be a clear communicator and must be willing to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as scheduled to serve and host guest groups and events.

Accounts Payable Bookkeeper
General Description: Come serve in a vital role on the Administration side of Warm Beach Camp Ministries. The Accounts Payable Bookkeeper position is more of a “behind the scenes” aspect of ministry that is important for the support of the continued growth and Kingdom work happening at the 3 campuses of Warm Beach Camp Ministries! The person in this position will serve at the Warm Beach Camp, Stanwood location in the Business Office, processing AP accounting transactions for all 3 campuses. Duties will also include processing invoices and receipts, reconciling statements and monitoring accounts as well as providing general administrative support to the Business Office.
General Qualifications: The person in this position is expected to have a high priority on accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties and adhere to deadlines. Prior bookkeeping experience is desired but not required and happy to train into this role and skills if the right fit. Microsoft Excel and accounting software's will be used extensively so familiarity and/or quick ability to learn in knowledge and skills of this aspect are essential.

The Lights of Christmas; Technical Lead
General Description: The purpose of this position is to manage and produce the technical work related to fabrication, repair and installation of lighting for The Lights of Christmas. This includes RGB design and programming. This position will occasionally supervise volunteers and seasonal/hourly staff, as well as work with other professional services as needed to accomplish the priorities of the event.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBCM staff, we are looking for a person who has a heart and mission for The Lights of Christmas event and desire to learn, improve and help the event and overall mission. We are also look for a person who is a problem solver, has an understanding of electrical systems, wiring and basic lighting technology and ability to fabricate with metal and wood.

Head Cook
General Description: This position will build a strong team in the kitchen to produce outstanding meals for guests/campers. This position directs the kitchen operations and culinary experience for optimal guest satisfaction, employee training and morale, safety, and efficiency. The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position. Adherence to a published, departmental schedule is expected and required.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp Ministries staff, we are looking for a person who has experience managing a kitchen operation and supervising a crew, enjoys providing high quality meals and proficiency in culinary quality and has a love for Jesus Christ and desire to make Him known.

Horse Camp Counselor
General Description:
Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. Counselors will assist the Head Counselor in planning, teaching, coordinating and carrying out activities, and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. The person in this position shall at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 18 years of age. Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers (ages 7-18) in their living unit, within activities and throughout the camp, in order to meet the intended camper outcomes.

Horse Camp Head Counselor
General Description:

Wrangler
General Description:
The Horse Camp Wrangler is responsible for ministering to the spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical needs of the campers and guests while they are on and around the horses, while at the same time maintaining the facility, equipment, and horses at the highest professional standards. The Wrangler will be expected to work as a team member with the other WBC staff toward the overall goals of the camp. This employee should be a positive role model to the campers in their spiritual walk, self-respect, love, and consideration of others. The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 2022 Program and Operational Staff
Horse Camp Counselor $350/wk

*Alumni receive an additional $20 to their weekly salary.
Important Information
- Standard summer staff contract is Mid-June through the end of August. See specific dates below.
- Staff must attend their “Staff Orientation” training at the beginning of summer and will receive a stipend for that orientation period. Contract pay will begin upon completion of orientation.
- Summer staff are required to live on-grounds in dorms or cabin style accommodations with other staff members or campers.
- Meals are provided during the week, and optional weekend meals. In most accommodations there is a kitchen available to make your own meals for your times off, if desired.
- Scheduled time off will depend largely on position and staffing each summer.
- We will interview applicants as they apply and will accept applications until all positions have been filled.
Important Dates - 2021
- Horse Camp Counselor and Head Counselor positions are from 6/20-8/21 (first week is Orientation).
- Wrangler positions are from 6/13-8/21 (first two weeks is Orientation).
Contract dates are semi-flexible based on your availability but also the needs of the camp. Please consider applying even if your availability does not match with the dates as listed above-we would still review and discuss if there is any way to accommodate.

Hospitality Assistant
General Description: Serve on a dynamic team focused on Christ-centered hospitality! As a member of the Guest Services team, the employee in this position will serve in a variety of areas hosting the group and serving their needs in food service, accommodations, recreational activities, general maintenance and groundskeeping or as best needed for the group and their needs or in preparation for the next group’s arrival. This employee will support all operational departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests, being the hands and feet of Jesus as we provide Christ-centered environments, experiences and resources to draw people to God through camping ministries, conferences and events!
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBCM staff, we are looking for a person who has strong attention to detail, good follow-through and experience with audio/visual and basic computer skills to assist with troubleshooting guests needs while here. Must have strong customer service skills and be a clear communicator and must be willing to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as scheduled to serve and host guest groups and events.

Hospitality Services Member
General Description: Come serve on a dynamic team where every member serves in multiple roles within the Hospitality experience of our guests. From preparing and serving meals (Food Service) to setting up meeting spaces and cleaning sleeping rooms (Accommodations). This Hospitality Services Member position is a great first job experience in a Christian environment and community. Come and learn these essential skills or be a part of the team that is teaching others how to serve well.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBCM staff, we are looking for a person who is a team-player and desires to serve others in a professional and genuine manner. The person in the position will need to be able to follow written and oral instructions, be respectful and willing to serve and accept tasks as needed.
Specifics: Positions start immediately to assist in the needs of summer and fall. This is a part-time, hourly position available to those age 16 or older. Lifeguard
General Description: As a member of the Outdoor Ministries and Recreation team, the Lifeguard will serve in the aquatics program in the pool and canoes providing a safe and fun experience for individuals and groups through the spring and summer season at Warm Beach Camp. Prior certification and training for all lifeguard standards are required or the ability to obtain before the start of the season.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBC staff, we are looking for lifeguards who are proficient, have a high focus on safety while desiring to see individuals have fun and grow in their experience of outdoor adventures. Primary duties will be lifeguarding at the pool while also assisting with canoe sessions in puget sound as needed and possibly some other recreation duties such as preparing fields for sport activities, assist in archery tag or other activities as needed.

General Description: This position is part of a larger ministry team this summer at Warm Beach Camp. The focus of this position is in assisting with kitchen operations and culinary experience for optimal guest and camper satisfaction through the preparation and serving of meals. Duties will also include providing guidance and direction to the Hospitality Service Team members under you during that meal which includes highschoolers.
