Warm Beach Horsemanship offers Equestrian Vaulting instruction through camps, classes, and even a competitive club team. Equestrian Vaulting is essentially gymnastics and dance on a moving horse. I tried to bring out a conversation about God from the one currently focused on space travel, expecting the campers to not be able to contribute much.  Instantly, the little girl picked up and almost with unstoppable exuberance began to explain her love for Jesus and how that this was the greatest thing in the world to her. “We has such a great time today bringing our Eagle Ministries junior high kids home from camp!  The love and caring they received at camp was outstanding! They made some great bonds with their counselors and some potentially life changing decisions were made.  Continue to pray for them as they return to some difficult home situations.”

Brittney Lundberg, Special Friends I will never forget the cross carry that we all did [at Special Friends Camp]. Praying over the cross and seeing all of the people who have special needs thank us counselors over and over again brought tears to my eyes. It was so cool to see them have fun in the same way as kids without disabilities. Special Friends Camp has changed everyone in some way.

One camper, Keisha, had been arrested 30 times for fighting. As her counselor asked for forgiveness, Keisha thought, “Chrisy’s a mess, and so am I. With summer right around the corner, registrations are now coming in for the summer youth camps. It also means that we are receiving requests for help through the Kids 2 Camp program. Without financial assistance, some of the children and youth who will be coming this summer would be unable to experience their week at camp. Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree Program started in 1982 as a Christmastime ministry to the children of prisoners. In 1995, the program expanded to encourage churches to get these same children into summer camping experiences. Warm Beach Camp was being invited to participate, and we responded with a resounding yes, not knowing it would become one of the most profound youth ministry endeavors we had ever undertaken. For years we have sent our children to Camp, with some parents paying all or part of the costs and the Church providing scholarship funds for those less fortunate. However, over the last several years, the number of families needing assistance has increased greatly. In response, Warm Beach Camp has graciously provided matching funds through their Kids 2 Camp program. This year, we have a greater challenge, and are linking arms with the Camp policy of "no child left behind." ...
