Kids 2 Camp Benefit Day

Through Kids 2 Camp, Warm Beach Camp Ministries provides life-changing camping experiences to everyone regardless of economic restrictions. When kids have the same opportunities as their peers to experience worship, fellowship, and fun – transformation happens.

Last year, 1,347 individuals were helped with full or partial scholarships. To expand the ministry’s impact on reaching more kids and their families for Christ, the traditional Kids 2 Camp Auction has been reimagined into the Kids 2 Camp Benefit Day.

The first Kids 2 Camp Benefit Day will take place on July 27, 2024, from 12:00-4:00 pm! To better steward resources of time and money, the debut event will begin at noon with a delicious lunch catered by PURE SMOKE BBQ, followed by a short program of impactful stories and a mini-auction of popular items such as cinnamon rolls, pies, and cakes! Then, a “paddle raise” will be held to secure the amount needed. To top it off, carnival games and recreational activities will be available at your leisure for the whole family to enjoy!

The 2024 Kids 2 Camp goal is $250,000, with a goal of raising $125,000 (50%) before the big day! It continues to be the Camp’s goal to have the funds raised a year ahead. Thanks to compassionate and generous donors, all the funds have been raised for 2024 scholarships. This event will raise the funds needed for 2025.

Soon kids, who would not have had the opportunity, will begin arriving for Horsemanship events, family camps, and Camp SunSparrow (the restructured ministry to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities) at Warm Beach, and day and group youth camps at Black Diamond Camp in Auburn, WA. We hope to see you at the Kids 2 Camp Benefit Day on July 27 as we come together to ensure no child is ever turned away due to the inability to pay.

Greater than Jesus?

“Students are not greater than their teacher, and slaves are not greater than their master. Students are to be like their teacher, and slaves are to be like their master. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, the members of my household will be called by even worse names!” Matthew 10:24-25 NLT Jesus is addressing the truth about being a committed follower of Christ. Growing in Confidence

Warm Beach horsemanship strives to build confidence in riding students by encouraging regular hands-on practice, riding with independent aids, safe horse handling and effective communication skills. Students find a sense of ownership in the grooming and tacking process with their assigned horses in addition to time spent working with them in arena lessons. Warm Beach Pony Club members build on this foundation by learning more in-depth horse care and handling skills. In the month of October, two teams of Warm ...
