Local churches and organizations have been devising fun and inventive ways through community involvement to help raise funds for Kids 2 Camp! A church recently participated in an “Egg My Yard” fundraiser to help send kids and families to camp this summer.

An “Egg My Yard” fundraiser sells pre-filled easter eggs and offers to hide them in families’ front yards just in time for Easter. A local church sold over 3,000 eggs to 40 homes and drove 600 miles roundtrip to deliver them all! In addition to raising funds for Kids 2 Camp, they donated a few egg baskets to families in need.

They arrived at a special house for children who were grieving the loss of their mother. These children found joy in searching for eggs in their grandmother’s yard. The grandmother expressed gratitude and mentioned that it was the first time her grandchildren were happy all week. In moments like this, we are reminded of the importance of showing Christ’s love to those around us.

This church served local families who needed it most while raising Kids 2 Camp dollars to bless kids and their families to attend camp this summer. Warm Beach Camp is extremely grateful for each person participating in the Kids 2 Camp Scholarship Fund!
