Camp Makes an Impact

One can never know how God will choose to move in one’s life. All that is required of us is to surrender and let Him lead. The outpouring of God’s Spirit upon the lives of students and leaders attending Warm Beach Camp was a beautiful illustration of living in those surrendered moments.

A middle school-aged youth group from a local church attended a camp retreat at Warm Beach Camp this spring. Many students who attend the youth group come from difficult home lives and do not attend church outside of weekly gatherings. Despite typical challenges, these students were engaged, present, and positive.

The youth group leaders grew in their relationships with Jesus while at camp and were fully committed and open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Through this surrendered space, God worked through these individuals creating transformational experiences. Of the 43 students who attended the camp retreat, 20 gave their lives to Christ! Twenty precious lives! These students left camp wanting to take ownership of their faith!

These students could attend this camp retreat through the Kids 2 Camp Scholarship Fund. If you feel led to participate in transformational experiences, join us for the Kids 2 Camp Auction on July 29 at Warm Beach Camp. More information here!

He dedicated his life to humbly glorifying God, serving others, and diligently carrying out the work that was entrusted to him. Let us now revisit the impact that Gary has had on Warm Beach Camp (WBC). Gary Kocher was a volunteer youth leader in the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free ...

A Different Place for Different Needs

If you walk around the Warm Beach Camp (WBC) grounds during a specific week in the spring, there’s a good chance you’ll hear beautiful music pouring out of almost every meeting room. The Northwest Big Band takes over much of the main conference center grounds and floods the space with their sweet melodies during their time at WBC. “It’s so peaceful here,” One of the group’s leaders, Kate Erb, said, “so our participants can focus on their music and their ...
