Giving Through Your Retirement Account

Did you know you can make a charitable donation from your retirement account and lower your taxable income?

At age 70 ½, IRS regulations require individuals with qualified retirement accounts to begin taking Required Minimum Distributions (RMD) from their account. Did you know that by gifting this distribution directly to charity, you can lower your taxable income while making a difference in a ministry?

Want to donate part, or all, of your RMD to Warm Beach Camp? Contact Jeannie Patterson at jpatterson@warmbeach.com for more information, or ask your retirement advisor directly about donating your RMD to Warm Beach Camp. Tax ID: 91-1710210

In addition to your RMD, you can gift a larger portion of your qualified retirement account to Warm Beach Camp, up to $100,000 in a calendar year.

Meet Adriene, the new Disabilities Ministries Coordinator

Warm Beach Camp is excited to announce Adriene Duguay as the Developmental Disabilities Ministries Coordinator! Adriene was born and raised in Shoreline, Washington, and graduated with a degree in Psychology from Trinity Western University in British Columbia. Adriene has diverse work experience ranging from working housekeeping at Seattle Pacific University to working in a hockey shop to, most recently, working at a day camp.
