A Time for Community …

As I visit with people every day about how they are navigating the times, one thing stands out very clear: We are meant to go through this time together.

Here are “seven points of perspective” for you to consider:

  1. God longs for us to seek Him and draw close. We long to do the same with God, whether we recognize it or not.
  2. The best way to work through challenging times is together, not alone.
  3. A good camp, retreat or conference is a very effective and cost efficient way for people to gather for community, perspective, support, and encouragement.
  4. A good camp, retreat or conference is an awesome way to draw closer to God.
  5. There is no substitute for a good campfire, some friends, and a chance to have a break from the “fullness of life.”
  6. There is nothing like hospitality and kindness when things are under pressure.
  7. If it has been awhile, this may be the right time for you to come and get away at Warm Beach Camp.

I invite you to find time to “sit around the campfire” with family and friends. Let hospitality and kindness flow. Now is a time to live in deep abiding trust in our Lord God.

Frank’s commitment each summer started my journey and love for camp ministry. Day Camp was influential in growing my faith and the counselors showed me how to be a follower of Jesus. I wanted to be a camp counselor when I grew up! Day Camp, Horse Camp, Fall ...

The Appearance Of

“In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry, and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up.” Matthew 21:18-19 NLT The second half of Matthew 21 is a sharp contrast between the appearance of faith by the religious leaders and the real power ...
