Welcome Heather Goetsch!

Heather joins Warm Beach Camp as the new Horsemanship Volunteer Coordinator.

Heather was born in Adak, Alaska, to a military family, often moving until the age of 12, when her family settled in Virginia. She married her wonderful husband Loren in 2010, who was in the military at the time, and in 2011, they settled in Washington, the third time for Heather!

Heather has experience working in and owning her own bakery/café; she worked in the legal field, was involved in real estate, and had the joy of being a stay-at-home mom while volunteering in her community. Heather is a mother of four and is currently homeschooling two of her children.

Her youngest daughter was eager to ride horses due to the family’s love of the tv show Heartland. After researching and seeing Warm Beach Camp Horsemanship offers faith-based lessons, Heather enrolled her daughter, and she went on to join Pony Club as well! By spending so much time down at the stables, Heather joined the adult riding lesson program in 2022, and her desire to be a part of the team grew.

By blending Heather’s childhood dream of working with horses and the gifts God has blessed her with and having a heart to serve, she is looking forward to how she can help lead volunteers in their equine growth. When she is not working, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and pets, gardening, and running the Diapers and Donuts ministry- which helps families in Snohomish County with diaper needs.

Welcome to the team, Heather!

NEXT- He will keep me in His love, and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child. THEN- He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He means me to learn, and working in ...

Ride of a Lifetime

“Don’t you want to retire so you can do all the things you’ve ever dreamed about?” It’s a question that I’ve been asked a lot. My answer, “I have gotten to do way more than I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams these last 50 years in Christian Camping!” Little did we realize what was ahead when my husband, Stan, was finishing up his last trek of college education. We were lying on a blanket, soaking up the ...

The Barn Changed Me

Before the barn, I felt like I was missing something—like my purpose began and ended with being a mom and a wife. While those roles are sacred, I knew deep down there was more of me waiting to be found. I was searching for myself… learning how to honor my truth, how to listen to my own voice, and how to step into confidence in who I am. Then I found the barn. And slowly, quietly… it began to change ...
