Best Christian Workplaces Certification

Warm Beach Camp Ministries (WBCM) has always been focused on the mission of sharing the love and hope of Christ through camping ministries and experiences in the Pacific Northwest. By keeping the path clear to the cross, the goal is for guests to have an encounter with Christ that will transform their life and ripple out to bless families and communities.

The prayer for the staff is we would experience the transformation we desire for others. Serving in a Christian ministry always requires a measure of shared sacrifice, and we are far from perfect. But by God’s grace, our staff community flourishes in route to accomplishing the mission of WBCM.

To help us understand how we are doing in creating a flourishing workplace, last fall we contracted with the organization Best Christian Workplaces (BCW) to conduct surveys to understand the strengths and weaknesses of WBCM. BCW certifies organizations as “Best Christian Workplaces” when they score above a certain number in the staff surveys.

Warm Beach Camp Ministries is humbly grateful to be recognized as a “Certified Best Christian Workplace” for 2021. The BCW team added, “At Best Christian Workplaces Institute, we stand with you in your commitment to be Christ’s hands, feet, and witness to your employees and those you serve.”

Insight gained from Best Christian Workplaces will inform on-going improvements for staff. The workplace culture can continue to grow in health and strengthen those who give so much to serve campers and guests.

I tried to coax her into calmness with gentleness and patience, but she still didn’t fully trust me. When ...
