Why I Love Family Camp

I love everything about Family Camp. It is a time to come together, connect with God’s love, have amazing experiences as a family, and spend time with old and new friends alike. Warm Beach Camp is the perfect place. I admit I am biased, and with good reason! Here are just some of what makes Family Camp special:

  • Dedicated Space– The land is dedicated to making God known to everyone who comes on the property. When families come, it is not just a set of activities and amenities. It is a dedicated space with families in mind.
  • Incredible People- Campers, Volunteers, and Staff come together to create connections and memories that will last a lifetime. We commonly hear of kids choosing family camp over theme parks for this very reason.
  • Connection with God – Sitting around a campfire, singing in the amphitheater, taking in a sunset, or praying together with family and friends, are incredible opportunities to connect with God in powerful ways.
  • Unforgettable Experiences – The bike parade, swimming pool, mini-golf, field games, hiking trails, making s’mores around a campfire, and crafts are just some of the many options to create unforgettable experiences for families.
  • Opportunity to help others – Family Camp has always had an eye for helping others.  This year is no exception. The Kids 2 Camp Auction is coming to Family Camp! This is an opportunity to have all the fun of the auction, bid on some cool stuff, and help those who come to camp who need some financial help.

I am so looking forward to OASIS Family Camp 2022 for all of these reasons. God’s enduring love has been so evident throughout these many years and I am eagerly anticipating watching Him work in the lives of those who come.

God Speaks through Rosie

I have recently been given the opportunity to work with Rosie, one of our newer horses that we are bringing along in training here at the Warm Beach Horsemanship barn. I am always excited to get to know a new horse and their personality. However, it didn’t take long to realize this sweet mare harbored a lot of anxiety and worry. I tried to coax her into calmness with gentleness and patience, but she still didn’t fully trust me. When ...
