By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

God is incredibly generous. His way of being and living constantly challenges and encourages me. God’s divine power provides everything needed to follow Him and live for Him.

His divine power created this beautiful earth.  From the beauty of the sea to the wonder of the mountains and plains, God’s divine power created a place that gives birth to, sustains, and creates life over and over.

His divine power restores us into good standing with His holiness. Jesus Christ expressed God’s divine power by taking on death and destruction from the beginning of time and defeating it. Through Jesus, sin is forgiven and a pure relationship with God is possible.

His divine power leads us into truth, helps us live with incredible compassion, and holds us up in times of real challenge. We are never alone.

Sometimes God works in a moment and provides a miracle that draws people to Him. His miracles are so encouraging to us. Other times God leads us over time and teaches us profound things about stewardship, compassion, mercy, and grace. We are shown a better way to live as God teaches us over time.

God is abundantly generous with access to Him. We can pray and talk with Him 24/7. He is available and attentive to us. The Holy Spirit intercedes with God the Father on our behalf in ways that are deeper than anything we can articulate.

God is generous with His words. We are not left guessing about God and his expectations. The Bible shows us the very nature of God and challenges us to trust Him. We are to follow His commandments and live in obedience. God loves us. His ways are meant to bless and encourage.

God is generous with His strength. Even in our weakness, God brings His strength to bear on our lives. His strength picks us up when we fail and fall.

Encouragement:  The amazing generosity of God gives us everything we need for life and godliness through knowing Jesus Christ. Lean into God’s generosity. Trust His amazing ways.

Prayer: Dear Father God, thank You for being so amazing and generous in our lives. Thank You for giving us full access to You through Jesus Christ. Thank You for guiding us into all truth through the Holy Spirit. Thank You for using Your diving power for everything good. I am in awe at Your generous ways in my life. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
