Golf Tournament Benefits Kids 2 Camp

The sky was deep blue, and the manicured lawns a luscious shade of green. The golfers were gathering, prepared for a beautiful day of golf on one of Washington State’s best courses, the Plateau Club in Sammamish. This was the setting for Warm Beach Camp’s first annual Kids 2 Camp Golf Tournament last year, an event that raised funds for camp scholarships to bring kids for a week of summer camp.

Following a quick lunch, the golfers headed onto the course, enjoying the golf and the camaraderie of the friends on their teams. The day ended with a delicious banquet and a program highlighting the ministry of Warm Beach Camp and the Kids 2 Camp program.

This year, put yourself into this picture. Here is the opportunity to combine two of your favorite activities into one incredible experience. Enjoy a day of golf on an outstanding course with three of your best friends, and at the same time, help Warm Beach Camp bring some kids to camp who otherwise couldn’t afford to come.

So, gather up your three golfing buddies to make a foursome, and go to the Camp’s website to sign up for this year’s Kids 2 Camp Golf Tournament. Registration is $245 per person, and includes lunch, dinner, two carts per foursome, and eighteen holes of golf.

You don’t have three friends to golf with? We are sorry to hear that, but that is no problem! We can team you up with three other golfers who could probably use a good friend like you!

The second annual Kids 2 Camp Golf Tournament will be held on September 22, 2008, at the championship course at The Plateau Club in Sammamish, Washington. Here is a great day of golf and the chance to support a program that helps change young lives.

He dedicated his life to humbly glorifying God, serving others, and diligently carrying out the work that was entrusted to him. Let us now revisit the impact that Gary has had on Warm Beach Camp (WBC). Gary Kocher was a volunteer youth leader in the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free ...

A Different Place for Different Needs

If you walk around the Warm Beach Camp (WBC) grounds during a specific week in the spring, there’s a good chance you’ll hear beautiful music pouring out of almost every meeting room. The Northwest Big Band takes over much of the main conference center grounds and floods the space with their sweet melodies during their time at WBC. “It’s so peaceful here,” One of the group’s leaders, Kate Erb, said, “so our participants can focus on their music and their ...

Living at Peace

“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9 NLT God blesses us for doing the work of living at peace with ourselves and others. Peace reflects the character of God. A young woman named Skyler shared a video on the You Version Bible App on this verse. She likened the quality of peace as being one thing that shows us as being children of God. She went on to the ...
