Something Special With This Team

Yesterday, at work, when everyone asked how the competition went and how ‘did Danielle do’…..it was actually hard for me to answer because I really didn’t want to single her out as getting 1st, or 2nd or 3rd or 4th because all those girls are so supportive of each other and lift each other up to such a degree, that when one wins, its as if all of them wins.

It was as I was trying to explain this to co-workers that it hit me how unique and inspiring this Warm Beach group is. From the walkers to the B team, from the horses to the coach(es), from the parents to the families, it’s all like a specialty made quilt, each part is a quilt square, some are large, some are small, all are needed, with the Lord’s presence as the ‘filling or stuffing’ of it and the competitions are as the hand stitching. Some are long stitches, some are short, some are even, some are out of line, some stitches are even missed….the end result takes your breath away!

I am so thankful that Danielle is a part of this. It is something she will carry with her, her lifetime.
Thanks again, to coach Patti, for all of her support and dedication, work, tears, laughter, prayer, all that and more that she does, behind the scenes and up front!!!

Frank’s commitment each summer started my journey and love for camp ministry. Day Camp was influential in growing my faith and the counselors showed me how to be a follower of Jesus. I wanted to be a camp counselor when I grew up! Day Camp, Horse Camp, Fall ...

The Appearance Of

“In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry, and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up.” Matthew 21:18-19 NLT The second half of Matthew 21 is a sharp contrast between the appearance of faith by the religious leaders and the real power ...
